Step up Transformer

The transformers are set up this way to provide a balanced output. A single transformer provides an unbalanced output. The schematic on the left shows the transformers wired in parallel. The schematic on the right has a switch to allow them to be in parallel or in series. It is done this way because the power source to them will have a wide range of outputs.

The base is made entirely of 1/4" glass and silicon because the transformer cores may not be connected together. The ribbon cable is made by placing the wires side by side and smearing a thin layer of Goop on both sides. It is finished by wiping it with PVC cleaner to remove the burrs from the Goop.
